Farmers market fun!

How cute are these guys?! Hank wanted spider man, then decided butterfly girl would be a new superhero :)

We also got some cucumbers for pickling and peaches and candied pecans. Oh! And we had homemade peach ice cream. All while letting daddy sleep late. I call it a fun and successful morning. Albeit very very sweaty.

Pig tails!

It never fails. This girl LOVES pig tails.

Hank just walked past her while he was in trouble and fussing loudly and she looked all serious and asked me "What we gonna do with that boy?" Wonder where she's heard that :)

Hank the Clown

A clown came to visit at MDO today so both kids came home with their noses painted red. I thought it would be a great time to let Hank try on my clown costume from when I was a kid. It's a perfect fit! And he loved it :)

Snuggle Time

Hank and Maggie woke up at the same time this morning and then for a surprising 20-30 minutes they behaved fantastically while hanging out in bed with me. They kept "trapping" each other, which sounds horrible, but really ended up being a huge bear-hug and the trapped person just squealed with delight. Sweet kiddos :)

Maggie's Eye Surgery

Friday was the big day of Maggie's eye surgery. We got there at 6:30, they didn't wheel her back till 9:30, then we didn't get home till after 3:00pm. It was a LONG day. She did really well and is recovering really well too, but just has to stay indoors and avoid getting dirty and swimming for a week. That's a little bit of a challenge for a 2-year-old, but we're doing our best. Hank got to hang out with Grandmama while we were all at the hospital on Friday. Then he visited with Sutton and Sammy Hardy for a while before going to ElChico then Barnes & Noble with Grandmama, and finally having his first backyard campout with James. It was an epic day for him (I think) and he behaved remarkably well through the whole thing.

Enjoy the photos!
Being silly before surgery...

Ready to go!
