Maggie's 6-Month Checkup

Maggie and I headed out to see Dr. Cush-John this morning for her 6-month well-visit. She is, of course, perfect as usual. Here are her measurements:
26.5" tall
17 lbs.
17" head circumference

All are in the 50-75th percentile. Excellent for a girl that started out in the 25th percentile on everything!

I just loved the way she would play with the paper on the table and then stop to smile really BIG at the mirror baby. She's almost sitting up on her own--just a little wobbly still. And now we can give her fruits & vegetables twice a day, so she'll get more than just formula or milk or cereal. Go Mags!

Basket Case

It was all fun and games until he got stuck in Maggie's hamper. That actually required my help to get out. He thought of ALL of those on his own with no direction from me. In fact, I was yelling at him to stop on that last one but he couldn't help himself.

Say what?

"Mama! I'm in the basket!"

Hank just announced that to me out of the blue and when I came to the door this is what I found:

I just put Hank's monkey pillow on his bed for naptime and he said "No Mama. Not upside down. Right side up. You know better!"

I wonder where he's heard that :)

Walking FORWARD

Until now Maggie had only been able to roll herself backwards in her walker, but this morning she started moving a tiny bit forwards too! Go Mags!
